The Happy and Prosperous Blog

Recently I’ve been considering placing some more adverts on the sidebar of this blog. Most blogs I read have a fair amount of advertising on them.

I have been undecided about this so I thought I’d ask you what you thought. For me the advantage of having some advertising is that I would get some financial return for the work I put into this blog and, hopefully, some readers would find products or services that they would benefit from through the adverts.

However, my purpose in having the blog is not to make money (otherwise it would be filled with adverts !!) - it is to pass on some things I have learned, promote some discussion of personal development themes and for me to be in contact with like-minded people all over the world.

So, if the majority of readers do not want any more adverts, then I won’t put any more adverts on here. Simple as that.

Yes, this post is fairly off-topic and will only really be of interest to fellow bloggers.

Rsshugger is a new website aimed at helping bloggers promote their blogs, and also to help visitors discover new blogs that cover their areas of interest.

I have heard good things about this service so I have signed up to see how it goes. It’s free to sign up provided you write a blog post about it, hence this submission.

My aim in signing up is to see if I can publicise this blog to a wider number of people who are interested in the topics we cover, i.e. The Science of Getting Rich, The Law of Attraction, Personal Development in its broadest sense, Health, Homeopathy, Meditation, Non-Violent Communication and the like.
