The Final Chapter

Well, this is the last post in this series of articles on The Science of Getting Rich. We’ve reached the final chapter of the book. The final chapter is a summary of the whole book. I did a summary of chapters 1-6 a little while ago and I am going to repeat some of that and add further material based on later chapters.

Fact or Theory ?

Do bear in mind that The Science of Getting Rich is written as fact and, at present, I am still taking it as a well-established theory. Having said that, I think there is a good chance that it is correct and I am putting it to the test in my life. So I take the concepts and the method to be true; I hold the theory to be true and I put it into practice. And, to be fair, the results continue to look promising.

OK, this is my interpretation of the main points:

  • At the most basic level, everything in the Universe is made of energy.
  • This energy is the raw material of all things.
  • This energy was not all used up in creating the Universe - there is plenty of unused raw material left.
  • This energy has creative intelligence behind it. Whatever it thinks is then created.
  • This creative intelligence uses the energy to make all things grow, develop and evolve. It makes new plants grow, it keeps the planets going round the sun etc. etc.
  • Life by its very nature, wants to expand, grow, develop and evolve.
  • The creative intelligence wants us, as human beings, to do the same.Treasure
  • The creative intelligence wants us to be rich so that we can live more, be more and do more. By being rich we can help the world to be a better place for everyone.
  • Therefore we have a reason to be rich and a right to be rich.
  • Because there is energy for creating things available, when you get rich it does not mean that someone else is poorer.
  • So there getting rich is not about competition for limited resources; it is about being creative - creating the things you want.
  • Being rich is not solely about money. Money is needed so we can enjoy more life on an intellectual level, a soul level and a physical level.
  • It is possible to communicate with the creative intelligence and it will create what we ask for if we go about that in a particular way.
  • This particular way involves
    • Being grateful for what we have
    • Holding a clear and definite vision of what we want
    • Getting away from a competitive mindset into a creative one
    • Doing our work every day in a efficient and effective manner so we are in a position to receive what we have asked for.
  • All business should be conducted with integrity and we should give people more in value than we take from them in money.
  • We should give the impression to the people we deal with that we are advancing, because we are ! The things we want are coming to us, therefore we are becoming rich, we are advancing.

Next Steps

OK, that’s the summary ! If any of this resonates with you then I suggest you read the whole book. It’s not long or complex but it contains some radical ideas as you will have already realised.

I will be writing more on this subject. In the meantime you can get 7 FREE lessons about how to apply these ideas in your life by clicking here.

Take Care With Your Thoughts

Yesterday, in part 15 of this series, we looked at advancement again. We are now getting towards the end of the Science of Getting Rich so today’s post (reflecting chapter 16 of the book) points out some things to beware of.

Doubts

Just because people don’t believe that there is a Science of Getting Rich does not mean that there isn’t such a thing. People may ridicule the idea and be convinced that money and other resources are all limited so competition is the only sensible course of action. They may say that it is all down to the government and that they will have to change things before people can improve their standard of living.

However, The Science of Getting Rich details a very different way of thinking which I have outlined in the previous posts in this series.

If you find yourself falling back into your old ways of thinking then stop because that will hinder you in the process of getting rich.

Future PlanningThe future is looking good

Some future planning is necessary and appropriate but we are warned against spending a lot of time worrying about and preparing for, things that might happen in the future. It is worth staying in the here and now as much as possible. If we are sticking to this method properly then any obstacles which we imagine might come up in the future will probably disappear as we get closer to them. Either that or we will easily find ways round them.

Has that been your experience ? Viewed from a distance, things in the future that we perceive as negative can appear much bigger than they are when we get closer to them. And we wonder what we were worrying about ! Focus on doing your work today well.

Dangerous Talk

Another way you can sabotage your success is by negative speech. Don’t talk about yourself or your work or anything else in a negative way. Focus on the positive and be grateful ! Don’t even consider that you may not be successful. Don’t be disappointed. Don’t bemoan the state of the world. Stick to the vision of your future the way you would like it to be.

Onwards and Upwards

Yesterday, in part 14 of this series, we considered the impression you give to others. More on that today…

Advancement

As we said yesterday, we all need to believe that the things we want are coming to use through our belief and our gratitude. Once we have that settled then it is clear that our businesses will improve and we should give out that idea of advancement and increase that people are attracted to.

This applies to everyone, whatever sort of work you do to earn money. You may work in a factory, be a doctor, teacher, cleaner, bus driver, vicar, solicitor, insurance salesman, nursery nurse - it applies to all equally.

Dead End JobOnwards and Upwards

You may consider that you are in dead end job with no possibility for getting on and no opportunities for advancement. Those thoughts are not helpful. Focus on what it is you want. How you get what you want is not your concern. The method by which things come to you is the domain of the creative intelligence, so focus on the results not the means.

Advance Yourself

Do your work every day to the best of your ability and focus on where you want to be. Don’t do your best with the idea of impressing your boss. If you’re particularly good at your job, why would they promote you ? Better to let you carry on doing your job well. No, do your job well with the plan to advance yourself and give out the idea of advancement knowing that you can be what you want to be and having the determination to succeed. Opportunities are likely to come your way which will take you towards your goal.
