The people there seem genuine and the forums/groups are so much more interesting and stimulating than some of the other communities like MySpace. I'd also like to second Jay's comment that Shelfari is a great social network for booklovers. I’ve been lurking through your blog for a while, but I just wanted to pop in and say that I am also a member of Gaia and absolutely love it! The people there seem genuine and the forums/groups are so much more interesting and stimulating than some of the other communities like MySpace.

I’d also like to second Jay’s comment that Shelfari is a great social network for booklovers. There is also Librarything and GoodReads, but Shelfari just seemed more intuitive and seemed to have a nice, clean interface.
