		<description>Hi Roger,
I have read the Secret, Law of Attraction, and many other of Esther and Jerry Hick's books, so when I read your post I felt a "yes, I know that feeling" type of familiarity. Earlier today, before reading about your experience, I was feeling down because business has been very slow (I'm a self-employed massage therapist). To feel better, I went for an hour walk and really took time to notice birds getting worms from ground, the numerous shapes of leaves of all the the plants and trees I passed, bees landing on flowers, and I was in awe. I just stood there and it seemed as if none of the worries were even vaguely present. Just the simple amazement of watching nature take its course. Even taking time to appreciate other people's hard work and time that they must have put forth to create such pretty flowerbeds. It is amazing what a little bit of sunshine and nature can do for the mood! In just an hour I came home feeling as if everything will be alright, or as my Granny used to say, "This too shall pass" or "It'll all come out 'in the wash' ". Its just the ebb and flow of the universe!

		<description>Hi Ellie
Thanks for including my post in the carnival. How fantastic to be surrounded by mountains ! It's been snowing a bit here over the last couple of days - nothing major - but it makes such a change to the park and the whole landscape. It's great to see how nature can alter its appearance so quickly !
Let's keep walking !

		<description>Hi Roger....

Great Post - I have included it in the Law of Attraction Carnival #30

Nature is such a great way to connect back to our souls -- When I lived in the city - there was no parks close by -- but that didn't stop me - Many days I would get in the car and drive to the park....

You could find me wandering through the grass or over by the Hudson River just watching the boats and birds go by....

Today - I live in upstate NY and when I look out my window I am surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains.... But there are days I need to remind myself - get out there and walk among this beauty -- and when I do - I am always refreshed!

Thanks for sharing......

<description>Roger, what a beautiful post! I've also found it very powerful when I can help my life coaching clients see the big picture, and focus on gratitude. One of my favorite exercises is "Top 3 Things" -- go about your day while keeping a mental list of the top 3 things that happen to you that day. You will inevitably focus on "what's going right" and feel great all day long!

Thank you for sharing this with the Carnival of Healing, posted on my blog Intensive Care for the Nurturer's Soul this week.

Blessings,
Hueina</description>

		<description>Hi Roger,

Your post really struck a chord with me. It was being grateful that got me through some of the worst times of my back and sciatic pain. I love nature and had always done a lot of walking in the countryside but with my back pain that abruptly ended. When I could not get out of the house my husband brought flowers into the house so I could see them there. I watched the birds from the window as well.
It wasn't always easy but aiming to focus on what I was grateful for, what was good, all I had and all the beauty that does exist put me in a better frame of mind to be able to tackle the challenges. I really appreciate how much better I am now and that I can do my country walks again. I agree getting in nature is wonderful...I love watching for the buds on the spring flowers and I love trees-so amazing. Thank you so much ...and its wonderful you found your own connection :) Love your blog.

<description>Hi Roger, its really beautiful to hear about you connecting more with life and the beauty around you.

Most don't see it! They see the pretty flower but they don't feel its inner-beauty. Keep up the wonderful work you're doing!

Also, a tip for those who don't have a park in their local area... always make sure you've got at least one fresh flower next to your computer. Just having something entirely natural nearby can help us notice its stillness and inner-beauty.

Much love!

<description>Wow Roger, I love this post. Sounds like you've got some major spiritual renewal happening there! I've been yearning for warmer weather so I can go out more too, but so far we're still locked into a frozen landscape. Soon, soon, I keep telling myself! In the meantime I'm trying to adopt a mind-set of wonder, peace and renewal each day - when you think about it, it comes from within anyway! :-)
