Visualise (or Visualize) Prosperity

Published by Roger at 11:56 am under Law of Attraction, Personal Development

A couple of weeks ago I bought a copy of the eBook by Wendy Betterini called Visualize Prosperity. This post is a quick review of that eBook and the 2 bonus items that come with it when you buy.

Background

I have been a regular reader of the Wendy’s blog Creation Thoughts for several months now. I can’t remember how I came across it but I have always enjoyed the articles which are all written in an easy, straightforward and helpful way. The subject of the blog is the Law of Attraction and how to make the most of that law for the conscious creation of the life we want.

What Is The Ebook All About ?

The ebook is in the same easy-going style focusing on using Visualisation as a means of attracting more prosperity into our lives.

There are 59 pages in this book and it is broken down into a number of chapters. The bulk of the book, as we would expect from the title, is a series of visualisation exercises. However, before getting to that point, the author discusses the benefits of visualisation as a way of making changes to our unconscious habits and beliefs.

The exercises are short and simple. You might need someone to read them out to you as you do the visualisation or, alternatively, you could record them and play them back to help you visualise. I wonder whether Wendy might offer an audio version of the exercises at some point in the future ?

With prosperity, as with many things in life, the attitude and beliefs that one holds (conscious and unconscious) have a major influence on our experience in the world. This book does not offer a magic solution and does not pretend to. What it does offer is a means to start making some changes to our attitudes and beliefs so that our experience can change.

Style

As with her blog articles, the style of this book is straightforward and accessible, encouraging, understanding and completely non-patronising. Wendy quotes instances from her own life to illustrate points in the book and this makes it even more down-to-earth and shows that the author has experienced challenges herself and that she is passing on her ‘real-life’ knowledge.

Bonus Items - A Mixed Review

The first one is called ‘Prosperity Projects’. It is a series of suggestions for art and craft projects to aid in attracting more prosperity. Well, if this is your area of interest then Wendy’s suggestions may be helpful and useful. Personally this didn’t appeal and I thought it detracted from the quality of the package.

The second bonus item, by contrast, is great. It is another 22 pages of solid advice entitled ‘The Law of Attraction, Money and You’. This goes into more detail about how our thoughts and feelings influence the world around us and how positive intention can be a useful way of changing our lives for the better. There’s plenty of good advice here about gaining better control over our thoughts and feelings and, in so doing, consciously creating a more fulfilling and more prosperous life.

If you are a regular reader of this blog then you will know that I have written an article about intention here before called How to Have a Better Day. So this is something I practice (although not every day !) and believe works.

Cost

The Visualize Prosperity ebook together with the two bonus ebooks is priced at $27. There is some tax to add on to that so it worked out at $31.72 (or £16.64 in my money).

Conclusion

The Visualize Prosperity and The Law of Attraction, Money and You ebooks are full of good, solid advice together with simple techniques that anyone can use. If you were to follow the advice and do some of the visualisation exercises regularly, they will, I’m sure, make a big difference to your life.

I have started to see changes since I began with these books and I was already familiar with much of the material. The results are completely dependent on doing the necessary internal work that Wendy guides us through in her books. If you want to improve the quality of your life and you’re prepared to do some of these exercises then $27 seems a fair price to pay.

Because I think the quality of the content is good and the price is reasonable, I have decided to become an affiliate of Wendy’s in selling the ebooks. So, if you decide to buy the books from here, I get commission. I mention this to be upfront and disclose my interest !

Sorry, this post has worked out a bit longer than I originally anticipated.

Roger, thanks for that review. I really enjoyed reading your thoughts and honest insights. I’ve had other people share the same opinion about the prosperity projects, they felt they were too “gimmicky” and detracted from the package; but then I’ve had others tell me that they loved that book the most because they wanted something more “hands on” to better focus on prosperity! LOL So I guess it just depends on your learning style and level of development? ;-)

But to answer your question about the visualization exercises, YES I do plan to include audio files in the future. In fact I’m working on that currently! I want to record them myself though, so I’m researching equipment and software. Should take awhile since I’m pretty much non-techie in most things.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for your thoughtful review and kind comments, I enjoyed reading them and appreciate you becoming an affiliate to help spread the word about my work!

    Hi Wendy
Great to hear that your planning audios of the visualisation exercises.

I certainly did not intend to disparage the Prosperity projects eBook and I did want to say that it didn’t appeal to me personally. I am sure there are many people who would enjoy it and, as you say, others like myself, for whom it would be a turn off. I’m all for individuality and people doing what most appeals to them !
