Thanks for your comments Nick. I especially like the idea of calling your To Do List, a Want To Do List. Puts a different perspective on it entirely.

Hi Gavin,

I read your blog with interest. Part of a short term intention, I would think, would be your to do list, if you modified it to reflect the questions you suggested we use to determine it we are clearly defining our intention. I have even changed the heading of my to do list to Want To Do. I think that more correctly reflects what the list should be all about.

Intention is a powerful tool. My own experience says that those intentions that you just put out their with out worrying about the hows, and whats, are the ones that work in the end.

Finally people are much better at this than they realize because they invalidate the result. They put out an Intention, which might take awhile to manifest, and when it does they dismiss it as coincidence.

Validating your successes with intention, no matter what the delivery of that intention is, simply makes the tool more powerful.

A great reminder of this powerful concept. It's so easy to forget the power of intention setting as one get's caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life! My intention for today is to have plenty of fun as I complete the actions i intend to complete. Namaste!
