Changing the Rhythm
Over the last two months I have put quite a bit of time and effort into writing posts for this blog. I had as my objective to write a post every day and, apart from a couple of days when I was away teaching in Belgrade, I have met that objective.
Over the last few days I have been reviewing that objective. I have noticed that, because of this commitment to the blog, I have not been reading as much as I used to and, I think, if I continue like this, my own personal development is going to suffer. It is certainly good spiritual practice to do something every day and, at the same time, I do not feel that I should continue with daily posting. I am, therefore, going to commit to doing at least one post every week.
By doing this I expect to be able to continue to produce good quality material and to pursue my own personal development as well. Don’t get me wrong here, I enjoy communicating with the world and sharing my thoughts. This change is not due to a reduction in enthusiasm but a desire to create more time for me.
As ever, I look forward to your comments on my posts here. Thanks for reading. See you soon.

Welcome to Happy and Prosperous. I'm Roger Knight.

In one blog, I read: Sometimes, a step forward means a step back. Or something to that effect. I applaud you for being able to fulfill your everyday blog entries. Other people even have a hard time posting once a week! But I applaud you even more for realizing that there are other elements in the picture. Recognizing that your lack of reading time is affecting your personal development, you automatically formulate an action to balance things.
Hi jen-chan
Thank you for your support. I have been feeling a bit uncomfortable about the decision but I am sure it is the right one.
