Mind Your Own Business
In part 12 of this series yesterday, we looked at action. Today, we look at the right type of business (or businesses) that will make you rich.
Existing Talent
Whatever business you choose you need to have some talent for that business. Don’t plan on being a musician if you have no musical ability ! Take some time to work out what your talents and skills are. Write them down somewhere.
Having talent though, is clearly not enough as plenty of very talented people are not rich. The way in which the talent is used is also crucial to the process of becoming rich. However, it will be easier if you work in areas which uses the talents and skills you have rather than ones you would have to develop.
Developing Talent
The Science of Getting Rich assures us that we can get rich in any business if we choose to develop the talents and skills required for that business. Less effort will,of course, be needed if you use the skills and talents you already have.
It may well be that you are not happy doing what you do now and you would like to do something different. If you have a strong desire to do something different then you will be able to develop the necessary skills for that work AND you will be happier doing it. It may be more challenging initially but once you have put in that extra effort you will be able to get rich doing something you genuinely want to do.
A strong desire to do something different is a clear indication that you have the necessary skills and talent in raw form.
Doing what you want to do is life, and there is no real satisfaction in living if we are compelled to be forever doing something which we do not like to do and can never do what we want to do. And it is certain that you can do what you want to do. The desire to do it is proof that you have within you the power which can do it.
Don’t Rush
Having said this, it is probably not a good idea to make radical changes in your work overnight. There is no need to rush into anything. Stick with your vision and watch out for opportunities to move towards the type of work you want. Hurry is associated with competition and that is not a good state for anyone wanting to use The Science of Getting Rich as a method of wealth creation. As we have said before, it advocates a creative method, which uses the Law of Attraction to bring the things you want into your life.
Don’t hurry, there is enough time to create what you want. Mistakes happen when you act out of fear, doubt or because you are in a rush. Go back to your vision, be grateful for what you have and what is coming to you and all will be well.
This is something I need to keep reminding myself of. I have a tendency to hurry and I try to do lots of things in a short space of time. I need to keep coming back to a more calm place and work from there. That is one of my challenges !
More soon.
