Evolving, Growing, Developing

Published by Roger at 6:48 pm under Personal Development, The Science of Getting Rich

In part 4 of this series, I talked about the creative intelligence behind the Universe how we can start to use our thoughts to help us get rich. Today I will consider the implications of a thinking universe.

Increased Life

If we accept that there is a intelligence behind everything we see in the Universe, then it is reasonable to assume that, like every living creature, it wants to increase its life. This was something I mentioned in the first part of this series. Personally, I want to develop to be everything I can be in my lifetime. All species tend to do the same; they evolve, develop, adapt. Each does its utmost to increase its life as an individual and as a species. As humans we need money to do more and be more so as to develop our talents and become more useful and increase the life of the world.

The desire for riches is simply the capacity for larger life seeking fulfilment. Every desire is the effort of an unexpressed possibility to come into action. It is power seeking to manifest which causes desire. That which makes you want more money is the same as that which makes the plant grow; it is life seeking fuller expression.

So, if the energy behind the Universe (‘the substance’) wants to increase life, then, as well as making plants and animals grow and evolve, it must want each human being to do the same. It wants to see more life lived through each of us. Therefore, it wants us to get rich. This is the logical conclusion of this line of reasoning. The Universe will support us in getting rich because the Universe can express its life more through us if we are rich. So, not only is the desire to get rich a natural desire, the process of becoming rich is supported by Nature itself.

We must remember that rich, in this context, is not just about money. It is about using money in order to have a balanced, fulfilling, happy and prosperous life. Its about having a sensible balance between the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life. No single one of these is more important than the others. Balance is needed !

Some people hold on to the idea that it is more noble to be poor than rich or that being rich is bad somehow. I don’t know where these ideas came from but they don’t make any sense to me. Money itself is neither good nor bad. It’s how it is used that is important.

Creation not Competition
Helping others up the ladder

The other important idea in this chapter follows on from what was said in the post called What is the Universe Made Of ?. Since there is unused substance in the Universe and this substance is the raw material from which all things are created, then what you want could be made from this spare raw material.

If that’s the case then there is no need for competition with others. If you get rich that does NOT mean that someone else has less. So, there is no need to cheat others or take unfair advantage of them.

Now there certainly are people who have got rich by cheating and competing and others have been disadvantaged in the process. They may have great skill in competing. That’s the hard way and a degree of ruthlessness is needed. The alternative method, which is being discussed in this series of articles, does not require ruthlessness. Using this method, as you get rich, others also gain more. It would be interesting to know how many of the people who have become rich using the competitive method are genuinely happy and living fulfilling, balanced lives. What do you think ?

So there are no limits; you don’t have to compete with others and Nature will support you in your ambitions !

More soon.
